United Methodist Women

The organized unit of the United Methodist Church Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive, fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The monthly meeting schedule will rotate from the second Thursday at 12 noon to an evening meeting on the second Thursday at 7:00 to a Saturday meeting.

Haiti Relief Update

Our contribution of $1682 for UMCOR relief has been sent to the Conference, and the Health Kit project has collected over $200 as of February 21.

An Invitation from the Burnt Churches Work Team


Central Coast Cluster of the Cal-Pac Annual Conference has been assigned to rebuild the Macedonia Church of God in Christ in Springfield, Massachusetts the week of August 7-14. The church was burned to the ground following President Obama’s election last November. If you feel called to do this work, please contact the team leaders c/o Pastor John Wood in Atascadero (805) 466-2334. Details are on the bulletin board.

Estero Community Garden

Located just north of the church, the garden practices all-organic gardening techniques. A lot is 15x15 feet, and can be rented on an annual basis. For further information call: 805-772-9580

Genesis of Grace Small Group Book Study

Canned goods are collected for Salvation Army.
